Univera Inc. is a dynamic, growing organization supported by a strong network of science-based companies called the ECONET. In the United States, the ECONET is comprised of Univera, Inc., Unigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Aloecorp, Inc. In Korea, sister companies include Unigen, Univera and NatureTech Manufacturing. Additionally, to ensure the highest quality and protection of products, ECONET owns and operates a network of farms and processing facilities located in US, Mexico, Russia and on Hainan Island, China.
From its founding in 1977, the ECONET has collaborated with research organizations, medical universities, and health and science institutes to create a cooperative network of research and discovery, product development, distribution, and clinical application. Our scientific and research teams have grown to include more than 50 scientists, 22 PhDs, and a brain trust of clinicians in virtually every healthcare speciality. Researchers bring expertise in a myriad of fields, including natural product chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, pre-clinical and clinical research, nutrition science, organic synthesis, and process development. Today, Univera and ECONET continue to advance the science of human nutrition and cellular biology to support cell renewal and healthy living.
Unigen is a leading natural products research and development company and proprietary ingredients supplier. Unigen is dedicated to the discovery of botanically-derived therapeutic compounds to address consumer health needs. Its research and discovery processes include extensive analysis at both the gene and human cell levels. Unigen focuses on identifying and investigating unique compounds from medicinal and food plants, and then formulating them into proprietary raw materials for use in nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, functional food and pharmaceutical products.

NatureTech, Inc. Founded in 1985, NatureTech is a 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility of the ECONET. NatureTech uses the most advanced technology available to cGMPcertified convert fine raw ingredients into quality natural products.
